Coker, who counts Ware, Enfield Town and Robbie Savage's Macclesfield amongst his former clubs, joins Heath's squad with a ringing endorsement from his former Bedford manager and ex Kings defender Lee Bircham.
'It’s my first time working with the manager so in all honesty I don’t know much. However speaking to Birchy at Bedford he assured me that the gaffer was a great guy and I’ll enjoy my time here.'
Following a spell on the sidelines the Londoner is keen to become a regular at The Orbital Fasteners, at a club he believes should be climbing the ladder.
'I’ve been out for a while and the thought of playing regular football again appealed to me greatly. Also seeing how such a club like Kings Langley struggle down the bottom half of the league was a bit confusing. So it was also added motivation for myself to help the club climb up the table.'
Ekow barely had to time to think, joining the club on the Friday night before making his debut the next day against Barton Rovers.
He looked assured at the heart of a new look Kings defence, slotting in alongside Ben Casey with Kieran Gauthier and Deago Dunbar-Bonnie either side of them.
'As you can probably tell from my first game. I’m very passionate. I really care about winning, whether that’s trophies or games. I play the game to win all the time. I’d describe myself as passionate and hungry. But also calm and measured. Complete opposites I know, but somehow it works.'
While the defender made a good impression on last Saturday's crowd, how has he found his first week at the club?
'It's been a good week, meeting the boys, the management staff but more importantly the fans. The support on Saturday was amazing and hopefully I get to experience that for as long as I am here.'
