As we approach the end of the season, it is a good time to reflect on what has been a year of rebuilding here at Kings Langley FC.
Following last season’s relegation, we knew this campaign would bring challenges. Rebuilding takes time, but it has been encouraging to see the positive way everyone at the club has responded. There has been a real sense of togetherness from players, staff, volunteers and supporters, all committed to moving the club forward.
Off the pitch, we have continued to strengthen our place in the community. Events such as Her Game Too Day and Non-League Day have been great successes, highlighting the inclusive and welcoming values we want the club to represent.
This has also been our biggest youth season to date. From Ned’s Soccer School through to our Under-18s, the pathway is growing stronger each year. It has been particularly pleasing to see a number of our Under-18s step up and feature in the first team, which is exactly what we want to achieve as a club.
I particularly loved being able to come down and watch our Under 15 Girls side win a semi final in their first ever fixture on our Senior Pitch, the crowd that day was incredible.
I would like to thank Steve Heath, his coaching staff, and every player who has represented the club this season. Their commitment and professionalism, especially during a period of transition, have been outstanding.
As things stand, we are still waiting to see how the play-off positions are finalised. Whatever the outcome, the spirit shown throughout the season has been excellent and gives us a strong platform to build on.
We will continue to learn, develop and look ahead with confidence as we work to move Kings Langley FC forward.
Thank you for your continued support.
