Take a look back on the last 12 months at Kings Langley FC, through the lens of Club Photographer Micah Ricketts.

2024 kicked off with a 4-1 home win against Ware on New Year’s Day, with goals from Louie Collier, Sonny French and a Rayan Clarke brace giving us the points.

Young defender Freddie Buers who had made his breakthrough in the previous season departed the club at the end of January as he signed for Watford.

On February 5th we were thrilled to receive photos of kits we donated to KitAid being worn by children at an orphanage in Sri Lanka.

Back on home soil, our next win wouldn’t appear until a 5-1 demolition of North Leigh at The Orbital Fasteners at the end of February.

On the 13th April The Orbital Fasteners was packed as the club came together to say goodbye to captain Jorell Johnson, ahead of his move stateside. A 6-2 win made sure the bumper crowd were entertained.

In May the club was rocked to it’s core by the untimely passing of our groundsman Trevor Dealey.

The 2024/25 season has seen the club become one of the Southern League Division One Central’s true entertainers, with Kidlington on the opening day of the season the only Kings league game which has seen less than 2 goals scored.

16 year old Flinn Filler bagged a dramatic late winner in the FA Cup against Cockfosters.

On loan Hemel midfielder Bradley Smith currently tops the goal scoring charts for this term, a season which has also seen a former Premier League winner in Graham Stack turn out for Kings.

Other highlights of the year have included the launch of a new partnership with local charity Hector’s House, a visit from the High Sheriff of the county and the growth of our youth girls section.
