Seven changes and the introduction of new signings Sakho Bakare and Kevin Ayodele were the prelude to an amazing opening blitz by Kings Langley that saw them go three up in the opening ten minutes. A quality move between Evan Connolly, Gary Coyle and Jimmy Armstrong ended with Sakho Bakare finishing in style and a minute later, Kevin Ayodele’s long through ball found Jimmy Armstrong, whose shot was too hot to handle. An Armstrong through ball enabled Bakare to stroke a precision shot into the net, before a bizarre incident added even more drama to the game. Athletic put the ball out of play with a player injured and Kings’ resultant throw in was put to Bakare, who’s overhit pass-back to the opposition keeper flew past him into the net from fully 45 yards. The referee had no choice but to award a goal and justice was done when the home team stood back on resumption to allow Jonny Cater to stroll through and net. An action packed first half continued when Ryan Wiffen made a hash of a back pass which Armstrong seized on to round the keeper and the striker then bundled in a Nathan Pooley cross to make the scoreline 7-1 after 38 minutes. Anthony Ladyman closed the half with a full length save from Glen Howkins , before the shell-shocked visitors retired to regroup. As so often happens with this kind of interval scoreline, the second half remained goal-less and an anti-climax, but credit must go to the Swans for playing the half on level terms and having the two best chances, forcing Ladyman into a couple of good saves from Nathan Perna.                   Line-up (4-4-2)
